SuperGeek 3 Year Warranty

SuperGeek 3 Year Warranty

This is the standard SuperGeek 3 year off-site warranty provided with our Desktop computers.  If you would like our ‘SuperGeek Onsite Warranty’, click here .

The warranty provided for laptops and components is the manufacturer’s warranty only and is not related to this 3 year warranty.   A Manufacturer’s warranty is specified by the manufacturer and typically requires that the purchaser return the item to the manufacture for repair or replacement.

Unless otherwise stated, all Desktop computers sold by SuperGeek have a 3 Year Warranty on all components.   Should any component fail during the 3 year period from the date of purchase you may have that part replaced and will not be charged for the replacement part.

Should your hard drive fail, this Warranty will cover the reinstall of the operating system and system drivers as per the licenced COA affixed to the system.  Note that no user data or software will be recovered, transferred, reinstalled or configured under this warranty.

This warranty only covers manufacturer’s faults.  It does not cover cleaning, normal wear and tear, damage caused by accident, neglect, misuse, improper installation or operation, acts of God, including but not limited to lightning flood earthquake and fire, power surge without Thor Technologies surge protection, computer viruses or infections, foreign matter entering the product such as liquid, moisture, insects or dirt or any damage caused from service, maintenance, modification or tampering by anyone other than SuperGeek’s authorised repairer.

If upon inspection or testing of your system it is deemed that the fault is not a manufacturer’s fault, you will be charged for the cost of parts and labour at SuperGeek’s standard rates.

Operation of the product in excess of the specifications or intended purpose, use on electrical voltages other than those shown on the rating plate, or use with the serial number or rate label removed, shall be deemed abuse and all repairs thereafter shall be the sole liability of the customer.

Should a product fail within the above warranty period, the customer must contact the SuperGeek call centre on 13 GEEK (13 4335).

If you are within a SuperGeek serviced area, and would prefer a SuperGeek technician to come to your home or office and pick up the computer or change the faulty component, you will be charged at the regular SuperGeek service rates under this warranty.
